Joins us for a lesson in intaglio printmaking.

Learn simple techniques to create a drypoint etching using recycled materials.

In this workshop, you will:

• Create an etched plate with a drypoint needle

• Learn inking and wiping your plate

• Paper preparation & registration

• Running your image through a press.

No prior experience is necessary! This workshop is designed to be fun, relaxed, and full of creative exploration.

Meet the Instructor:
Roberta Benjamin is a lifelong artist in Prescott, AZ and co-founder of Ciel. She has a rich background in many artistic mediums with her primary passion being printmaking. Before opening Ciel, Roberta shared her love of art with students by teaching at a local elementary school for the past 16 years and successfully ran an art house alongside her husband for 30 years.
