Get your hands dirty with ceramic artist Chelsea Koressel!

Join her workshop where she will lead you through the creation of your very own clay piece, with exciting decorative elements. Sip wine while you create!

Everyone will make a handbuilt, lidded jar, and you'll be provided with an array of stamps and dried plants to build your own unique design. You'll also have several glaze options to choose from to finish your piece in style. Completed pieces will be fired and glazed, and returned to Ciel for pickup.

All materials will be provided, but make sure to wear clothes and shoes you don't mind getting dirty. Clay making can get messy!

Chelsea is a Phoenix based artist, originally from Prescott, who works and teaches at the Phoenix Center for the Arts. She specializes in functional, wheel thrown vessels, but takes time for handbuilt pieces as well. She's known for her minimal designs with a splash of color, and is often inspired by plants, flowers and botanicals.
